The Consultation and Custom Design
We start by learning what you want the finished display to feel like. That means walking through your home’s specific features: how much of the roofline you want lit, which trees and railings to include, and whether you want yard pieces as part of the scene. We can quote from a few pictures of your home and Google Earth, or for larger or more complex properties, we come out in person.

Your Free Estimate
Once the design is shaped, we give you an estimate covering everything in the display: the lights, the layout, and your choice between buying and leasing. We also walk through the optional storage offer at this stage. Nothing moves forward until you have a clear picture of what the job includes and what it costs. No surprises.

Scheduling Your Install
After you approve, we confirm your install date. Oakland County weather can shift quickly, so we plan installs around conditions and keep you updated if the schedule needs to move. Once the date is set, you will receive a confirmation and reminders leading up to the appointment.

Installation Day
Our crew arrives with our own professional-grade LED lights, ladders, and rooftop safety gear for any work at height. We install the full display across rooflines, eaves, trees, railings, and any lighted signs or statuettes in the design. Before we leave, we test the entire display and walk through it to make sure everything is exactly right.

Service Through the Season
Once your display is up, we keep an eye on it through the holidays. If any part of the display needs attention, we come back out and take care of it, usually within 24 hours.

Takedown and Optional Storage
When the season is over, we come back and take everything down for you. If you would like us to hold on to your lights until next year, storage is available for a fee. Or you can store them yourself, whichever works better for you.
Christmas Light Installation Pricing in Oakland County
Every display is designed around your home and quoted after that design conversation, so the final number reflects your specific layout and how much of the property you want lit.
Displays start at $800 on the lower end, with most displays between $1,500 and $3,000 (larger displays up to around $6,000). Final pricing depends on the size of the display, how much of the home is included in the design, and the complexity of the roofline and other features.
You also have a choice on the lights themselves. You can buy the lights outright or lease them for the season. When you buy, the lights are yours. Because they are our own professional-grade product, we come back and install them again for you each season, which saves money over time compared to leasing year after year. If you would like us to store them between seasons, we can do that for a fee, or you can keep them yourself.

Our Christmas Light Installation Guarantee
Season-Long Service and a 3-Year Guarantee on Purchased Lights
We stand behind your display all season. If anything isn’t working, we’ll come out (usually within 24 hours, even on Christmas Day) and replace bulbs or whole strands at no charge. Purchased lights are guaranteed for three years. In cases of severe weather, a response may take a few extra days, but we will always follow through. The guarantee applies to our own installed lights.

Christmas Light Installation FAQs
Do you store the lights for me after the season, or do I keep them?
Storage is your choice. We can hold on to your lights until next season for a fee, which means you do not have to find space for boxes in your garage, or you can store them yourself at no additional cost.
How far in advance should I book my holiday lighting?
For November and December installs, plan on booking about two to three weeks ahead of when you want the display up. If you can book in October, that also qualifies you for the early-bird discount, which takes 10% off the install price.
