Can you reach our windows?
We can reach ’em! We clean everything up to 3.5 stories using our water-fed pole systems, and ladders are used when needed.
What type of preparation do we need to do before you arrive?
Our technicians are trained to move furniture (beds, desks, etc) and other possessions that are often in front of windows, so we anticipate moving your stuff out of the way and then putting it all back. We often take photos to make sure things go back exactly where they were. If you would rather clear the area for us because of sentimental items, we understand, and are happy to let you do your thing. There is no requirement to move things out of our way, though.
However, if you have an ample amount of items blocking an area of windows (for example, in the basement or garage), we may have to charge an additional fee for our time, in order to gain access to the windows. These are often temporary circumstances, and homeowners may choose to opt out of those windows getting cleaned, and therefore we would remove them from the invoice.
Do you do new construction/construction clean-up window cleaning?
Yes we do! We come in after construction and painting are complete. We use the most up-to-date methods to protect the glass while removing construction debris.
A note: we OFTEN see paint sprayed across windows, which is very difficult to remove from certain types of windows (tempered glass or plexiglass) without scratching the glass, so when possible, remind your painters to cover each window!
Do you clean the windows by hand, or with the poles?
It depends! We use varying methods, depending on what is needed to complete the job. Most of the exterior cleaning will be done with the pure water system, aka water-fed poles. We find this system to be incredibly reliable for most home exteriors, but we adjust to another method if that is the best option.
Do you clean tracks?
We offer to clean window tracks for an extra charge. Regular window cleanings include wiping down the sills, but deep track cleanings involve an additional process, including vacuuming, scrubbing, and drying of track sections.
Do you clean interior windows?
We offer interior, exterior, or a combination of both. We have a minimum service fee of $150.00, but we will come out to clean whichever side of your windows you feel is most needed.
Do you clean storm windows?
Yes, we have experience with most types of storm windows, old and new. We will take them apart and clean all four sides of the glass, and then put them back together for you.
